The low down

Thirty-three-year-old Scott Dempsey is determined not to spend another holiday season pining over the past.

Scott is intrigued when he comes across an article about the professional cuddling business. Maybe this is just what he needs to get out of his own head.
Peace, Oregon is a small town where everyone knows everything about everyone. After he orders a Santa costume as a disguise, and distributes a flyer with his pre-paid phone number, the calls start coming in.

And then he meets Bella...and then his ex calls and says she needs to talk to him. And, on top of trying to care for of four-year-old precocious, lovable boy when the child's grandmother falls ill, the town gossip is out to find this cuddling Santa who’s intentions just might be less than honorable.

Could things get any more complicated?

Yes...they will.

After Charlie is given supervised visits, she begs Mira to tell the truth but the child appears terrified to be around her mother.

Clint is given a choice: He can either raise Mira as a single parent or Mira will be put up for adoption.

Their once close family torn apart, after Mira is given a clean bill of health, a devastated Charlie moves in with her parents, spending hours at the library searching for answers.

After stumbling across a parapsychology article, even though Charlie knows her husband would never approve what he refers to as nonsense, Charlie begs renowned medium Winston Fry, III for help.

What the medium discovers, however, will make him question all he has ever learned about the afterlife.
